Year 6 Trophy Winners

Congratulations to our Year 6 students who were outstanding in their field. Sofia (Music), Joshua (Academic & Sport), Dylan (Sport), Aaliyah (Sport), Georgia (Conscientious & Speech), Ryan (Citizenship) and Alieya (Art). We are all so very proud of you. Well done.

On Sale Now at the office and for each final assembly. Great local recipes, Great Bargain.

Due to the weather, the School Picnic today is cancelled. There is no postponement day. The sausage sizzle will still go ahead at school.

We are looking forward to our annual School Picnic this coming Wednesday at Spencer Park. We always enjoy a day of fun together away from the school grounds. We will be traveling by bus to and from Spencer Park. Please remember to bring your hat, drink bottle and plenty to eat for an energetic day. Also remember to wear school uniform.

School Photos have arrived

Your child will soon receive their school photo for 2011. The staff had fun dressing up for the occasion in light of the eventful year we have all faced. It put a smile on our faces too.

Kapa Haka Visit to St Margaret's

We had a great time entertaining at St Margaret's. The boys did really well with their haka and our singing was great too.

What Now Nowie Awards

The school is participating in the What Now Nowie Awards as the audience on Wednesday 23rd November. We are all looking forward to the exciting events.

Isleworth Athletics Day

A fabulous day even in coldish weather. We are so proud of our children for competing in the school Athletics. They did a fantastic job of trying hard at all the events. We even had children competing who hadn't quite started school yet. Well done. Thanks to Mr Ritchie and the teachers for all the organisation.

Grandparents Day - Thank You

What a great time we had at Grandparents Day. So many grandparents and friends came that the hall was almost overflowing. Thanks also to every one who brought along a plate of food. We really appreciated sharing that with you. It was great to see a few new faces as well. We really enjoyed performing for you. Enjoy the photos below.

At these conferences children will be talking with you about their learning, telling you how they know they have learned something, and what their next learning steps will be. They will also re-visit the goals set earlier in the year.

We strongly believe that children should be totally involved in the learning process and be able to discuss their learning which is why we involve them fully in these discussions, it is also a time for you to celebrate their successes this year

We really hope that all parents will be able to attend these conferences as the children really do enjoy sharing their learning with you and it gives them the message that learning is a partnership between home and school. Please contact the class teacher for an appointment time.
